Five Milano Concrete Trough planters have been commissioned by Multi Span Australia in one of their projects at Berrinba, QLD.
The Milano range of planters are made of fibreglass but comes with a concrete finish. This makes the planters lightweight, and also scratch-resistant. While most fibreglass planters would be appropriate for contemporary designs, the concrete finish of the Milano range makes it appropriate for classic architecture.
The project at Keller St. in Berrinba, QLD was done for the Garda Property Group. The project site has approximately 6,000 square meters of floor area. It is a single warehouse split into two tenants.
The planters adorn the front face of the architecture which was transformed into a retail store. The planters are a great match for the polished concrete floors.
As the area is mostly covered in concrete, the trough planters allowed for a means of adding foliage. If not for the plants, the area would have been a lifeless environment that is predominantly gray.
Multispan Australia has over 50 years of experience in design and construction. They delivered on the project despite tight time-frames caused by the pandemic restrictions.
