Planters for High End Residential Community Garden Design

Close-up of Cube 600 planters | Residential Planters and Plant PotsIOTA granite planters are showcased in a residential development located in Burwood Park in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England.

A private and exclusive residential area, Burwood Park spans 360 acres of land featuring approximately 400 homes. Each residential dwelling has its own unique style and theme.

Contemporary architecture standing on high ground and surrounded by areas of hard landscaping. IOTA’s granite planters cohered perfectly with the architectural theme of the house. The charcoal shades of the granite complement the exquisite gunmetal grey doors, windows and balcony very well. The various topiaries are specially-selected to complement the architectural form in every part of the design.

Extra-large planters, specifically the Taper 800, Taper 1100, Tall Taper XXL, Cube 500 and 600, were selected for the project to create a design scheme in line with the scale of the house. Several Granite Trough 1000’s were also utilized and planted with tall grass. These were used to act as a border at the end of the terrace. Each planter was individually installed with self-watering reservoirs, also provided by IOTA, for easier maintenance.

This project was made possible by Prêt à Planter Ltd who commissioned the project for IOTA. Prêt à Planter is an internationally operating enterprise that delivers high-quality landscape design services for an assortment of clients mainly in the UK, Belgium and France.

  1. We are looking for something large as above however we like a round or oval shape
We prefer it for looks as well as stability-we have a few rented units in our block who can be a little “boisterous” after nights out!!
We like the dark granite looking to plant Draecena Draco in them-probably require 3-4 depending on size

    • Hi Cecilee. The granite is very elegant and stable as it is made from slabs of polished granite. That does however limit the shapes, and round or ovals are out I’m sorry.
