Using Pots and Planters on Poolside and Resorts

Swimming pools and resorts are places that are worth visiting if you are looking for some relaxation. Unwinding is a must for people who are battling stress in their daily lives.

But now, most indoor pools need enhancements. Without trees or plants, the tropical-vibe is incomplete. Adding huge planters to handle these kinds of plants is one of IOTA’s specialties. At Gold Coast Deepwater Point Apartments Poolside, palm trees are creating structural damage as they grow. They need to be re-planted before they create irreparable damage.

We are talking about trees here, so normal pots wouldn’t able to handle it. IOTA’s large containers in fiberglass were the solution they found. The Manhattan Cube 1000 is great as a poolside planters because of its size and material. The planters were brought in to hold a rare palm variety native to Round Island in the Indian Ocean Mauritius Group.

Additionally, the ground was reinforced with concrete to cope with the weight of the palm tree and the large fiberglass planter. The Manhattan Cube Planters became an attractive solution to pool landscaping.

Another poolside project was on Ocean Sands at Main Beach. Here, the Venice lightweight planters were strategically positioned at the stairwell near the pool to soften hard edges. The planters add a pleasing ambiance since it blends  well with the colour of the area. It also holds plants with low growing foliage but the landscape was made even better by tall palms trees on the sides and the background.
