What comes to mind when you hear talk of “Busy Places”?
These are locations where a lot of different people are always present. Places like offices, town centres, and malls are great examples of these. It looks modernized in a way that makes the ambiance more serious and less relaxing. Just imagine tons of plain tiles, concrete, large columns would be scattered all around. Designers and landscapers made a great decision when adding pots and planters to enhance these busy places.
An office in Newstead, Brisbane adds life to their area by adding some lightweight concrete planters. These planters complement the interior of their office. It adds elegance to the office space since the planters were strategically positioned in corners and sides of file cabinets.
Just a tip! A study has proven that plants in the office helps improve the health and general well-being of the employees. A healthy employee means good productivity.
Another project that comes to mind when it comes to busy places was the designer mall in Banbridge, North Ireland. Given that it’s a designer mall, the shop units include designer brands like Armani, Calvin Klein, Joseph, Ghost, and Jaeger. IOTA’s granite planters were chosen to soften the landscape in this prestigious development.
Here’s another local project. For this one, fiberglass trough planters were used in a shopping centre at Worongary. One of the best ways of using trough planters indoors is for creating a partition and they did a great job to create a division between different restaurants and establishments.
The planters provided a more relaxing ambiance that benefits both employees and customers. In the hospitality industry, plants are a great way to induce a calming effect. The planters didn’t just help improve the ambiance, it also enhanced the aesthetics in the area.
All of the said projects portray a great way of using planters in a busy place. It does more than enhance the area. It also provides a great relaxing effect that customers will surely love.
