IOTA custom-made granite planters were chosen for the Plantation Wharf street scape project at Battersea, London. The goal was to upgrade the exterior landscape design. The old steel planters at the wharf were replaced with 34 pieces of elegant granite planters from IOTA. Different size and shape planters were used to fit the scale.
Trough planters were created in three varying sizes up to a length of 1800mm. The design also required the use of extra large low planters at 1000mm. in height as well square planters measuring 700mm. The planters are filled with evergreens Buxus and Ligustrum that grow on varying seasons to keep the design interesting for the entire year. With this planting scheme, there is no dull moment.
Situated on River Thames in London, just in the middle of Wandsworth and Battersea Bridges, Plantation Wharf covers a wide area. Encompassing 6-acres of land with commercial and residential spaces, it includes 105,000 square feet of office spaces and 200 residential developments. It also houses an array of retail and hospitality establishments.
